Starting with remnants of the old industrial origins of Sutton Place, we will move South learning about the changes experienced in this area over the eras, from slaughterhouses to Vanderbilts. We will then journey to the Turtle Bay area, with stories about those who have passed through or made this beautiful area home, from Nathan Hale to Steven Sondheim to the UN Secretary General. We will also explore what was there before the United Nations. Moving on to Tudor City, we will experience this beautiful space and its history before we move on westeard along 42nd street to explore globes, colonial roads and a beautiful Grand Central Terminal.
