Takisha J. Edwards is a licensed tour guide who became a member of GANYC in 2026. While Takisha is relatively new to the tour guide industry, she has participated in the international Jane's Walk Festival (an annual festival of free, community-led tours) in both 2025 and 2026, run in NYC by the Municipal Art Society (MAS). Through the festival, Takisha has led numerous tours in her native borough of Queens, and participates in off-season tours through MAS. As an official tour guide licensed by the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, Takisha hopes to expand her footprint in the tour guide industry by providing tours throughout the five boroughs, with a concentration in the outer boroughs.

Takisha has a B.S. in Public Health and Anthropology from Brandeis University. When she is not touring, Takisha is busy working as a Senior Care Advisor in the healthcare system. Takisha is still based in Queens and continues to work in NYC.
