Margot has planned and led many architecture and museum tours, drawing on a deep interest in historic preservation in New York and throughout the U.S. Her background includes directing and overseeing programs as NYC’s Deputy Commissioner of Community Development in all 5 city boroughs.
An enthusiastic jazz and arts aficionado as well as a French interpreter. Margot's travels to more than 70 countries have included posts as road manager for Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, and Garth Fagan Dance, (US State Department projects), as well as conducting private tours during her years based in Geneva, Switzerland and in the U.S. Having earned an exemplary sightseeing guide rating from NYC’s Department of Consumer Affairs, Margot is dedicated to ensuring that visitors make new discoveries about her hometown and enjoy exploring its diverse sites and cultures.
