Leslie was born and raised in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, where many residents feel that Brooklyn should be a separate city. Now having lived in Manhattan for over 30 years she considers herself a native New Yorker. However she continues to bring travelers back to the old neighborhoods.
Leslie's extensive career in the hotel industry both in New York City and abroad, lead her to becoming a licensed guide. She loves turning people on to new places and things.
Leslie's focus is sharing the past with the present in what she considers the most exciting city in the world. From the tip of Manhattan to Hudson Heights, she provides historical facts, anecdotes, and oral histories which make her tours educational and fun!
