Born and raised in the suburbs of New York to an American mother and an Italian father, I have lived in NYC all my adult life.

After a successful 30-year career in Marketing Public Relations, I changed careers and became a licensed New York City walking tour guide.

After apprenticing with several English-speaking tour operators, I used my business background to create Gite a Piedi New York Tours offering private and semi-private (max. 8 persons) tours in both Italian and English.

In the eight years since then, I have personally:

Ratcheted up 680 four- and five- star reviews on TripAdvisor;

Been included in TripAdivsor's "Hall of Fame" for being awarded the site's "Certificate of Excellence" five years in a row;

And been distinguished as one of TripAdvisor's "Travelers'Choice."

My tours are immersive experiences intended to acclimate visitors to New York City and make them feel like insiders by tour's end.

Dopo un primo periodo di apprendimento facendo tanti tour con Tour Operator in inglese ho sfruttato le mie conoscenze nel campo del marketing, per creare Gite a Piedi New York Tours, offrendo tour privati e semi privati (max 8 persone), sia in inglese sia in italiano.
