Elliot Brown

Elliot H. Brown is a partner with Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell & Vassallo, P.C. in New York City.  He received his bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and his law degree from Yale Law School.

A former reporter for United Press International, Mr. Brown has taught entertainment law at Columbia University School of Law and the Cardozo School of Law.  He has also taught American Business Law at Tallinn Law School in Tallinn, Estonia and has lectured on American Theatre Law and Business at the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in Beijing, China.

Mr. Brown practices in all areas of the entertainment field, with special emphasis on theater law, television, motion pictures, and book publishing.  His interests as a guide include newspapers and journalism in New York and New York's legal history and lore.
