About

A native of New England with a lineage stretching back to the Plymouth pilgrims, I was a history major at the state college in Bridgewater, Mass.  Like so many others, I came to New York in pursuit of a theatrical career. Because of this, my tours have an element of entertainment and storytellng added to what would simply be an informative experience.  Later I became a NYC real estate broker whch kindled in me a love and appreciation of the history and archietectural diversity of this great city. I have been a licensed NYC tour guide since 2007.  I have given literally thousands of tours through all parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn not only atop double-decker buses but in smaller more intimate groups.  I have created a tour specifically for British tourists and Anglophiles who are interested in how New York transformed from a British town to an American metropolis.
