About
On a global level, I am a Certified International Tour Manager as well as a Hospitality and Hotel Tourism Management certificate holder.
On the local level, I am a Tour Guide who is licenced in NYC and in DC. I was born and raised in Manhattan where I lead groups and individuals through various "hoods":
Ellis Island, Liberty Island, Wall Street-9/11 Memorial Park, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Lincoln Center, World Trade Center, Museum Mile and Harlem (where I got my BA degree from Barnard College-Columbia University). Although most of my tours are in Manhattan (downtown, midtown and uptown) I have also conducted several tours in the remaining 4 boros: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
Furthermore, since I am licensed in New York City and Washington, DC, I conduct several bus tours where I compare the NY sites to the Washington, DC sites (as we visit both cities on 2 separate days).
Since I am also a Certified International Tour Director/Manager, I conduct several Over the Road Tours (OTRs) to destinations like Niagara Falls, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlantic City and Washington DC.
My Market Research background helps me quickly design a customized fun tour that concentrates on the audience’s areas of interest. For a private tour, I conduct an extensive phone consultation or email correspondence, so I can plan and customize the tour accordingly. Is you group interested in Art, Architecture, History, Movie Sites? Anything else I should include in our tour?
Since I am bilingual in Greek and in English and I am fluent in French, I can conduct my walking, bus, subway or taxi tours in English, Greek or French.

Special Tours
I also work with student, senior and corporate incentive groups. Upon special request, I research and conduct a highly customized immigration tour which includes Ellis Island and Liberty Island and where I highlight the history of immigrants from a specific country or region.
For the architects, I work various neighborhood tours around Guastavino buildings (allowing the guests to view the more modern as well as the older buildings) while I relay the respective neghborhood's history.
For the art lovers, I offer art tours where we visit museums and if shopping is on the wish list, we visit several art galleries and studios where can negotiate fair pricing!
