About:

New Yorkers love to tell stories. My story features growing up in Brooklyn, earning a Ph.D. in psychology and having a career in education, living in Manhattan, and falling in love with New York’s history and diverse neighborhoods. Along the way I’ve learned some fascinating stories. New York’s story is filled with heroes and villains, the grand and the mundane as well as art and food. Come take a walk with me and learn what makes New York the most interesting city in the world.

My credentials, in brief: official tour guide for the Central Park Conservancy, docent at the Museum of the City of New York, docent at the Morris-Jumel Mansion, licensed NYC sightseeing guide, and co-creator of Take a Walk New York, a partnership of tour guides offering regularly scheduled tours, custom tours, and an informative newsletter for all who love stories about this quirky city. Please visit: www.takeawalknewyork.com for more information. I am also pleased to offer a website dedicated to the statues and decorative art in Central Park. Please visit: https://www.centralparkinbronze.com for a comprehensive list of the statues with basic information on each piece, map locators, photographs and the option to arrange for custom tours of the Park.
