Tours & Services Offered
With nearly 15 years in the Food and Beverage Industry, I’ve got quite an extensive background in everything from the back of the house, to the front of the house, to the stage in the center of the house, to the streets around the house! I’ve got a degree in hospitality management which gave me a very basic knowledge of food prep and service that’s only grown over the many years that I’ve been obsessed with the food scene (particularly in New York City). In 2012, I became a licensed New York City tour guide, and after about 6 months of working for another company, I started my own food tour business from the ground up. And while I no longer offer public tours on a regular basis, I still love to put together custom private events for people. In fact, the reason I began my tour business was the same reason that I got into hospitality to begin with. My drive has always been to create memorable experiences for people that tell stories through food. I’ve also culled quite a contact list of food professionals over the years, and it’s always a joy when I can bring them all together. So, whether it’s a small private tour for a couple who just LOVES tacos, or it’s a conference of food professionals from around the world, hire me and we’ll create an unforgettable event together!
The goal of my tours is to take you on a culinary adventure while giving you some history about the neighborhoods we visit and the food we taste. If I've done my job by the end of the tour, your hunger will be sated and your brain a tad more filled, with a smile on your face!
My only public tours are my holiday tours. If you're interested in a private food tour, I am happy to discuss options in almost any neighborhood within the 4 boroughs (sorry Staten Island, I love you but I live in Harlem!): Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx. I am happy to accomodate any kind of diet or detary restriction, as long as I have advance notice.
