Vice President

I'm very pleased for the opportunity to continue to serve GANYC as a Board member.
During my 15 years with the organization I've been very pleased to see it's continued growth. It has unquestionably become the most prominent voice for guides in NYC and has provided consistent support, education and advocacy for its members.
I am proud to be one of the founding committee members and instructors for the Certification Committee; I was the founding chair of the Awards Committee; am the current chair of the Constitution Committee (as well as one of the members who helped draft the current document); served as a member of the Health & Safety Committee and am currently a member of the Ethics Committee. I was also a regular Guidelines columnist for many years.
Professionally, I am a guide (from student groups to senior groups, along with exclusive VIP tours and public walks), a tour manager and a content producer. In the past I've worked for an art gallery and an advertising agency a pr firm, a hedge fund, several real estate companies and a magazine publisher. For many years I was the quizmaster for the Panorama Challenge, a large NYC-trivia-based event at the Queens Museum.
After living in Brooklyn for over 20 years, my family and I moved to New Jersey. Despite the commute, I continue to work regularly in the Big Apple.
