Although I traveled around a fair bit as a child my family has been in Brooklyn for over 120 years and I have lived here permanently since highschool.
I have been a licensed NYC Sightseeing Tour Guide for 16 years since 2002 and for me this is truly a labor of love.
In my previous professional life I worked for 20 years for a variety of agencies, planning and coordinating services in all five boroughs of NYC.
I received a Graduate Degree in Urban Affairs from Hunter College focusing primarily on the history, planning and developement specifically here in New York.
I worked at Ground Zero for three months following 9/11.
I have extensive knowledge of NYC and the Hudson River Valley, however specialize in tours in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
On a personal note in addition to being a family man, I am a 15 time participant in the NYC Marathon, have commuted on my bike here in the city for 35 years and hike and kayak regularly in the Hudson River Valley.
