Sara Lyons

Sara Lyons (GANYC Treasurer) has been a licensed tour guide for seven years, a GANYC member for four years, and chair of the Awards Committee since March 2023. She joined GANYC seeking a community of fellow guides to grow and bond with and a network of professionals like her who love NYC for a living, and is honored to be serving on the board of the Guides Association! She also has more than a decade of nonprofit management and leadership experience and is thrilled to be able to put those skills to use in this capacity.

Sara is a proud Queens resident descended from a long line of other proud Queens residents, living half-way between where her parents lived when they met and their current home. When she's not guiding, Sara enjoys swing dancing, drawing, and making theatre happen however she can.
